OBERON THEATRE ENSEMBLE

The Oberon Theatre Ensemble is an active player in New York’s independent theatre community. Now in our 14th season, we combine classic, contemporary, and new works in repertory. We believe in the joy of a well told story, the connection offered by a supportive community, and the magic of the theatre. More

ORDER

Written by Christopher Stetson Boal

Directed by Austin Pendleton

Order is the darkly hysterical and ultimately tragic story of Thomas Blander, a former philosophy teacher determined to be mild and polite in a violent and greedy world. His plan goes awry, however, when he is seemingly possessed by a demon who claims to be an ancient creature of power and who brings an entirely different philosophy - one that includes an undeniable lust for power and an insatiable appetite.

"Take what we want. Eat when we're hungry. Regret nothing."

The World Premiere of Order was
