Jane Cortney

Bianca, Othello; American Rapture
This past autumn JANE CORTNEY played Alma in Boomerang Theatre Company's production of Summer and Smoke. Oberon shows include A Thousand Variations on a Lie Told Once and Ghost on Fire last season, as well Mice and Men, Moonchildren, Three Sisters, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Other NYC credits include The Monster Tales (Boomerang) and A Little Piece of the Sun (Fringe NYC). Regionally she has appeared in Little Women (Northern Stage and The Tempest (Shakespeare on the Hudson). Jane has degrees in drama and English from Vassar College and recently received her MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School/New School for Drama. Member AEA.

Rachel Dart

Assistant Director, Othello
Rachel Dart received her BFA in Dramatic Writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has assisted at Manhattan Theatre Club (Jonathan Alper Directing Fellow, Nightingale ), Gallery Players ( House of Blue Leaves ), and Prospect Theater Company ( Golden Boy of the Blue Ridge and The Dome ), and directed at Prospect’s Dark Nights Series ( Buddy Holly at the Armory ) and Gallery Players’ Black Box New Play Festival ( Will You Sing Me a Lullaby ).

Jarel Davidow

JAREL DAVIDOW has been with Oberon from the beginning, having appeared in the very first production, Pieces of Seven, and in 2008 as Aden Paltz in Ghost on Fire. Other favorite roles include George in Of Mice and Men, Lucentio in Taming of the Shrew and Lucio in Measure for Measure. Jarel has also been seen on stges across the country in such shows as Twelfth Night and Comedy of Errors(New England Shak Fest); Rip Van Winkle (Great Amer Melodrama-CA; The Mousetrap (Lake Worth Playhouse- FL); and twice performing in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Film and TV projects include Law & Order, Ed, and Woody Allen's Celebrity and numerous commercials and voice-overs. Jarel received his MFA from the Actors Studio at the New School and is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio. Member AEA.

Alexander Dinelaris

Playwright/Director, American Rapture
Alex was nominated for two Drama Desk Awards in 2003 for his additional work on the Off-Broadway hit, Zanna Don't. His play Red Dog Howls, (which addresses the effect of the Armenian Genocide on one man and his family) played to sold out houses in L.A., with Award-winning actress Kathleen Chalfant ( Angels in America, Wit ) in the leading role. The play has been nominated for several Los Angeles theatre awards and is scheduled to open in London in the spring of 2010. Other plays include; Still Life, which is slated for Broadway this fall, produced by, Jeffrey Richards ( August: Osage County ), The Chaos Theories, Big Kids, Pathetique. Most recently, Alex worked with director Alejandro Gonzales-Innaritu ( Babel, 21 Grams, Ammores Perros ) on his newest film. Alex attended Barry University, where he received the Mac McKindree scholarship for drama.

David Matthew Douglas

Duke of Venice, Othello
Regional: Alabama Shakespeare Festival, St Louis Rep, Syracuse Stage, Studio Arena. MFA:ASF. David is an Executive Producer of RIPFEST Collaborative Film Project and recently produced Dottie's Thanksgiving Pickle, (starring Academy Award Winner Olympia Dukakis) and Wolfman, DDS (with SNL's Will Forte). As a competitive triathlete he has completed five Olympic-distance events in the last year in the US, Italy, and Germany, and is currently training for his first Ironman 70.3 event. davidmatthewdouglas.com

Philip directed The Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage for Oberon's short-play production All-In-One. Graphic designer for Oberon's 2008 season: Macbeth, Ghost on Fire and A Thousand Variations on a Lie Told Once, as well as the 2006/2007 and 2004/2005 seasons and many other projects. As actor for Oberon: Well-Laid Desert (lead), Measure for Measure (Pompey), Road to Nirvana (Jerry) Of Mice and Men (Curly), and King Lear (Albany).
